One post, updated through Sunday and Monday night. Newest update on top. Next update: Sunday night, after the late games.

Update 3: 3:50 p.m. ET (late games, inactives are in)

Ladd McConkey is active. The Chargers receiver has no injury designation for Kansas City, which kicks off at 4:25 p.m. ET, and he is not on Los Angeles' inactive list. He was limited in practice Wednesday and practiced fully Friday. Ladd McConkey has a foot injury he re-aggravated in Week 4 and a hip problem, and he was active but played no snaps in Week 5.

Snaps are the risk. He has a receiving line in three games this season and two targets for no yards in Week 4, and he has no Week 5 stat line. Watch his first-half snaps. A full game says the foot is fine and that he is a buy. A limited one means the same restrictions next week.

Quentin Johnston is active too. The Chargers receiver missed Week 5 with a chest injury. Quentin Johnston has a season high of 44 yards, on one catch in Week 4, so his return helps McConkey's targets more than it adds a new option. WR Tre' Harris (hamstring) is out, along with tackle Joe Alt (neck) and safety Derwin James.

Rashee Rice is out. The Chiefs receiver has a hamstring injury from Week 4 and missed every practice this week. Rashee Rice owners should hold until Kansas City gives a return date. Patrick Mahomes leans on Travis Kelce and Xavier Worthy, and the Chiefs elevated receivers Andrew Armstrong and Justin Watson from the practice squad. Wideout Tyquan Thornton is out as well.

Update 2: 3:15 p.m. ET (early games in progress)

Corrections to Update 1: Hurts is on injured reserve, Jackson's absence is an ankle injury, and Tampa Bay's starter is Jalon Daniels, not Easton Stick.

Romeo Doubs is out for the game. The Patriots receiver hurt his shoulder after a 42-yard touchdown catch and will not return against the Jets. Romeo Doubs owners should hold until New England gives a timeline. DeMario Douglas is next on the depth chart, and A.J. Brown, back from four weeks on injured reserve with a high ankle sprain, is the top receiver left.

Carson Steele is questionable to return. The Eagles running back hurt his shoulder, which leaves Philadelphia thin with Saquon Barkley out and Will Shipley on injured reserve. Dameon Pierce already has a touchdown and picks up carries if Steele stays out.

Rashod Bateman is out. Baltimore downgraded the receiver from questionable with a shoulder injury, and Elijah Sarratt is already inactive. Rashod Bateman owners can hold, and Zay Flowers is the top target left for Tyler Huntley.

Michael Penix Jr. returned. The Falcons quarterback went to the medical tent in the first half and came back six minutes later. He was cleared before the game with a rib injury. Michael Penix Jr. is fine to start.

Alvin Kamara returned. He landed hard on an incomplete pass, went to the medical tent and came back to the game. His back injury was the reason he was questionable.

Falcons defender Kendal Daniels was stretchered off with a neck injury after a hit to the helmet, and Atlanta ruled him out.

Late games: who is out

Sunday night: Green Bay was listed without Josh Jacobs and Jayden Reed against Dallas on Saturday. I will confirm in the next update.

Cleared and active in the early games: DK Metcalf, Rico Dowdle and Tyjae Spears are active. Panthers running back Trevor Etienne makes his 2026 debut.

Update 1: 12:00 p.m. ET (early games, inactives are in)

Jalen Hurts is out. The Eagles quarterback has a superficial blood clot in his leg, and Philadelphia placed him on injured reserve. The team said he played without limitation last week. Jalen Hurts will miss at least four games, and owners should hold and wait for word on his return. Tanner McKee starts, and he is a one-week streamer in deep leagues only.

Saquon Barkley is out. Saquon Barkley is inactive too, and running back Will Shipley is on injured reserve. Jaydon Blue is in line for the lead carries. Wideout Hollywood Brown is out too, while DeVonta Smith is back.

Lamar Jackson is out. The ankle injury he suffered in Week 4 keeps him out against Cleveland for a second straight game, and wide receiver Elijah Sarratt is out as well. Tyler Huntley starts. Lamar Jackson is a hold.

Quinshon Judkins is out. The Browns running back was a game-time decision with an ankle injury and is inactive. Quinshon Judkins joins Dylan Sampson, who was listed out on Saturday, so Cleveland plays without both backs. Check the active list before you set a lineup that depends on the Browns backfield.

Tyler Warren is out. The Colts tight end was added to the report late with a groin injury and is inactive against Tennessee. Tyler Warren is a hold unless the injury drags on. Mo Alie-Cox is next on the depth chart.

Breece Hall is out. The Jets back has a quadricep injury and did not practice. Breece Hall is week-to-week, per head coach Aaron Glenn. Braelon Allen takes the lead role against New England and is the add if he is still on your waiver wire.

Kyle Monangai is out in Chicago. The Bears running back is inactive against Atlanta, so D'Andre Swift is the only established back. Kyle Monangai owners can hold. Swift's workload goes up.

Cleared to play

Also out: Tampa Bay running back Sean Tucker is inactive with a quad injury. Quarterback Baker Mayfield is out again with a right thumb injury, and CBS reports Jalon Daniels makes his third straight start against Pittsburgh.

A one-week absence rarely moves a starter's price. If a backup just inherited the job, check him in the Dynasty Trade Calculator before you send an offer.

FAQ

Should I pick up the backup when a starter is ruled out on Sunday morning?
Only if he inherits the starter’s role and you need the lineup spot this week. For dynasty rosters, add the backup if he has a path to keep the job, and drop him when the starter returns.
When do dynasty owners need to act on an injury?
Act on a short injury only if you must set a lineup. Wait for a timeline before you trade a hurt starter, because a one-week absence rarely changes a player’s long-term price.
How much does a one-week injury change a player's dynasty value?
Usually very little. A new role for a backup can move his price, so run him through the NextDyne Dynasty Trade Calculator before you offer anything.
