Week 9 Matchups Preview: Seven Games That Move Dynasty Lineups

Dynasty matchups preview for Week 9: Bengals-Falcons, Jaguars-Ravens, Giants-Eagles and four more games, with projections and lineup calls.

By Derek Sallis · November 4, 2026

Seven games decide most of this week's lineup questions. Each section gives our projected points, what the opponent did last week and the call. Statuses are Tuesday's and may change after Wednesday's practice reports.

Jaguars and Ravens, Thursday night

Trevor Lawrence projects as the second-best quarterback on the board against a Baltimore team that lost 36-10 and is down to a rookie, Joe Fagnano, who has an ankle injury. Bhayshul Tuten is questionable at 18.8, but he plays first, so you will know before Sunday.

The call: start Lawrence. Hold Tuten until the inactive list comes out, and have a Sunday backup ready.

Falcons and Bengals

Atlanta was shut out 16-0. Cincinnati allowed 36 points in a win over Tennessee. That helps Michael Penix Jr. at 14.1, and Bijan Robinson at 15.8, but it helps Joe Burrow and Tee Higgins more.

The call: start all of them. Drake London at 11.8 is a flex play with a low floor.

Patriots and Packers

New England's Drake Maye projects at 24.0 and Green Bay's Jordan Love at 20.1, so these are two of the top six quarterbacks on our board. Josh Jacobs projects at 15.3 and Rhamondre Stevenson at 9.2.

Both teams are thin at receiver. Jayden Reed and Romeo Doubs are out, and A.J. Brown is questionable at 6.0.

The call: start Maye and Love. Treat Matthew Golden at 13.5 as a flex.

Lions and Dolphins

Malik Willis projects at 21.9, fourth among quarterbacks, with 24 rushing yards built in. Detroit scored only 19 against Minnesota. Jahmyr Gibbs is 19.6 and Jameson Williams is 16.3, ahead of Amon-Ra St. Brown at 13.6.

Miami has lost De'Von Achane for the season. Ollie Gordon II has led the backfield for four games.

The call: start Willis, Gibbs and Williams. St. Brown is a start, but his snaps dipped last week when Detroit used three tight ends.

49ers and Raiders

Christian McCaffrey is questionable and still projects highest among running backs at 23.0. George Kittle at 15.1 and Brock Bowers at 14.3 lead the tight ends in the same game, and Kirk Cousins at 20.8 is a start.

The call: start McCaffrey if he is active. If he sits, check the inactive list before you lean on a backup.

Giants and Eagles

Philadelphia hosts. The Eagles are without Jalen Hurts, and New York is without Jaxson Dart. Malik Nabers projects at 19.9 with a range from 8.7 to 30.8, the widest of any top receiver. J.J. McCarthy is the Giants' quarterback at 16.0. Cam Skattebo is questionable at 17.4.

The call: start Nabers, but know the range. Saquon Barkley, at 15.0, is a start after a limited Week 8.

Bills and Vikings

James Cook projects at 22.2, second among running backs, and has the highest floor of the top ten, 14.2. Josh Allen is 19.3 against Minnesota. Kyler Murray is questionable at 16.6, and DJ Moore is questionable at 9.8.

The call: start Cook and Allen. Hold Murray until Friday.
