Week 8 Fantasy Matchups: Seven Games That Reshape Your Lineup

Dynasty managers' Week 8 matchup guide: Huntley and Allen, Daniels against Philadelphia, and the games injuries have thinned out.

By Derek Sallis · October 28, 2026

Baltimore and Buffalo is the only game this week where both quarterbacks project above 25 points. It is also one of seven games where the injury report changed who touches the ball. Points below are our half-PPR projections, adjusted for opponent and health as of Tuesday morning. The full boards are in the Week 8 rankings.

Houston, New Orleans, the Giants and San Francisco are on bye.

Panthers at Packers (Thursday)

Jordan Love projects at 16.3, down 6.7 from last week's line, and Jayden Reed is out. That leaves Christian Watson as Green Bay's top receiver at 10.9.

Carolina has the bigger swing. Chuba Hubbard projects at 12.1, but his best case is 27.1. No other running back has a gap that wide. Bryce Young projects at 14.2 after scoring 5.4 with two interceptions last week.

Ravens and Bills

Tyler Huntley projects at 27.3 because Lamar Jackson is out, and Josh Allen is right behind at 25.2. Huntley's line has him throwing for 352 yards, more than any other quarterback in our top 120.

Zay Flowers is the receiver to chase at 16.4, and James Cook leads Buffalo's backs at 18.3. Derrick Henry projects at 13.7 after two games under 6. DJ Moore is questionable.

Commanders and Eagles

Jayden Daniels is the top quarterback on the board at 27.4, and 59 of his projected rushing yards give him a floor most passers lack. Washington is thin around him. Terry McLaurin and Jacory Croskey-Merritt are out, and Marcus Mariota is questionable as the backup.

Philadelphia has lost more. Jalen Hurts, DeVonta Smith and Dontayvion Wicks are all out, so Makai Lemon steps up to 13.5. Saquon Barkley is questionable at 14.7.

Lions and Vikings

Jahmyr Gibbs projects at 22.3, well above the 14.8 he scored last week on 29 carries. Kyler Murray leads Minnesota at 22.2, and Justin Jefferson rebounds to 15.5 after a 6.4.

Amon-Ra St. Brown is questionable at 11.2, and Sam LaPorta falls to 9.4 from last week's 14.6.

Bengals and Titans

Joe Burrow projects at 23.9 and Ja'Marr Chase at 18.0. Tennessee lost Calvin Ridley and Tyjae Spears, so the Titans' offense runs through Tony Pollard at 14.7.

His best case is 24.3. Last week's 35 points came from three touchdowns, and our line assumes fewer of them.

Jets and Raiders

Breece Hall is out, so Braelon Allen projects at 17.3 on 21 carries, up from 6.5 a week ago. Ashton Jeanty matches him at 17.3 on the other side.

Neither team has a passer above 15. Kirk Cousins projects at 14.4 and Geno Smith at 14.1.

Cowboys and Cardinals

Jacoby Brissett tops this game at 19.5, ahead of Dak Prescott at 17.3. Trey McBride leads all tight ends at 16.6.

Jeremiyah Love is out, so Tyler Allgeier takes about 21 carries and projects at 13.9. CeeDee Lamb falls to 13.5 from 19.8.
