Key Injuries Entering Week 9: Who Is Out and Who Takes Over

Dynasty injury report for Week 9: Lamar Jackson's thumb surgery, Jeremiyah Love's ankle, the questionable list and who inherits the work.

By Tyler Brandt, News Desk · November 2, 2026

Baltimore's starting quarterback needs surgery on his right thumb and goes on injured reserve, which could end his season. The Ravens play Jacksonville on Thursday night with an undrafted rookie behind center.

These are Tuesday designations. Wednesday practice reports will move some of them.

Tyler Huntley is doubtful with a toe injury, so Fagnano is the likely Ravens starter. Baltimore added two more quarterbacks, Kedon Slovis and Austin Reed, to cover the short week.

Our Week 9 board also has Alec Pierce, Jayden Reed, Romeo Doubs, Jordyn Tyson, Travis Etienne, Jonathon Brooks, Tyrone Tracy Jr., Robbie Ouzts, Jalen McMillan and De'Zhaun Stribling as out. We have no confirmed timelines for those ten.

Fantasy impact

Allgeier carried the Cardinals to an overtime win with Love and a backup both hurt. He is the lead back again against Seattle.

Coleman took 19 of 21 second-half snaps for Denver and scored. With Harvey out, he leads the backfield against Carolina.

Nacua drew nearly half of the Rams' targets without Adams and caught 11 of the team's 17 completions.

Tuten plays in the first game of the week, so his status settles first. Hall has missed five straight games with a quad injury. Egbuka has missed two with a foot injury, and Smith has missed two with a hamstring injury. Moore came back from a shoulder injury Sunday and played.

New from Sunday

Hunter Henry hurt his foot in the second quarter at Miami and did not return. He is questionable, and Eli Raridon played 92 percent of New England's snaps on the day.

Zachariah Branch left Atlanta's game with a hamstring injury on a kickoff and did not return. Jake Ferguson hurt his ankle in Dallas after four snaps.

Mason Taylor left the Jets' game with a left leg injury with 27 seconds left. ESPN shows no designation for him yet.

Jaylen Warren looked hurt after a fumble pileup at Pittsburgh and played less afterward. The Steelers have a bye this week.
