Recent seasons count more (last year half the weight, then 30%/20%). We use per-game averages and discount seasons with barely any games — then normalize by position.
NextDyne is a dynasty fantasy football platform. This free calculator is its trade tool. Every player and rookie pick gets one Dynasty Value Score from 0 to 10,000. We build it from recent production, age curves, draft capital and a 2026 outlook from our Engine Projections. Add both sides and pick Superflex or TE Premium.
Every value on this page comes from one formula, applied the same way to every player and pick. It starts with recent production through 2025: last season counts for 50%, then 30% and 20% for the two before it. Age curves come next, then draft capital, then a 2026 half-PPR outlook from Engine Projections. Superflex adds 18% to QBs and TE Premium adds 5% to TEs. Both are off until you turn them on.

RBs age first. WR/TE hold longer. QBs last the longest. Same curves every owner in the league sees — no hidden “your guy” bump.
Where they were drafted in the NFL still matters — especially for rookies who haven’t produced yet.
A 2026 half-PPR outlook baked into Value Score — heavier for young players, lighter for settled vets. Not a separate rankings product.
Picks use the same 0–10,000 scale: this year’s picks highest, future years discounted, early/mid/late inside each round. Superflex / TE Premium are format bumps (QB +18%, TE +5%). Dynasty-only at launch — Standard and Keeper aren’t on this tool yet.
These are the 25 highest Dynasty Value Scores on the 1QB board. They are the same numbers the calculator uses. Superflex and TE Premium are off here. Turn them on in the calculator and QB and TE scores change. See all players on the full board.

Here are three trades scored on the 1QB board, using the same numbers as the calculator. Each shows both sides and who comes out ahead. A higher total does not make a trade right for you. A contender and a rebuilder can read the same numbers and want different sides.
I used 2027 and 2028 picks only, because the 2026 rookie class has been drafted.
Side A: 5,989
Side B: 6,142
Side B is ahead by 153.
Side A: 7,010
Side B: 7,999
Side B is ahead by 989.
Side A: 5,918
Side B: 5,649
Side A is ahead by 269.
On the board, the player is ahead. RBs age first, so a rebuilder may still want the pick, and a contender may want Barkley. The calculator shows the gap. You decide if your roster makes it worth it.
