How BPA works here

Computer teams always take the highest remaining Engine Value Score for your Superflex / TE Premium toggles. That score is not “last year’s PPG only” — Engine Projections add a 2026 outlook so rookies and role-change players stay on the board honestly.

Auction CPU heuristic: max bid ≈ Value Score ÷ 50, never spending the last $1 needed for each remaining roster slot. Pass / sell runs remaining CPU raises then awards the player.

FAQ

How does the computer pick Best Available?
CPU seats always take the highest remaining NextDyne Engine Value Score for your format (1QB or Superflex, with optional TE Premium). Value Score blends trailing production through 2025 with NextDyne Engine Projections for 2026 — not a crowdsourced rankings scrape.
Can I run an auction mock draft?
Yes. Choose Auction in setup, set a budget (default $200), nominate when it’s your turn, bid, then pass to let CPU budgets finish the auction. CPU max bids leave $1 per remaining roster spot and cap near Engine Value Score ÷ 50.
Do I need a NextDyne league or account?
No. This public mock is anonymous — nothing writes into a real league. Create a league when you want commissioner tools and a real draft room.
Why is the mock only a limited number of rounds?
The public board uses NextDyne’s skill-player Engine catalog. Round count is sized so every team can fill the same number of seats without exhausting that board (up to 15 rounds).
What are NextDyne Engine Projections?
A deterministic 2026 half-PPR outlook blended into Engine Value Score — heavier for young players. Not a separate projections media product and not LLM-as-authority numbers.
