2026 Fantasy Football Rankings: Top 10 QB, RB, WR, TE Season Projections

These are the top 10 at each position for 2026, ranked by projected half-PPR points from the NextDyne Engine Projections model. This is a season outlook, not a dynasty value score. A rookie with a huge 2026 projection might still rank behind a 30-year-old on our dynasty trade value board.

Top 10 QB

Matthew Stafford leads by six-tenths of a point — 46 projected passing touchdowns, almost no rushing value, and Sean McVay's offense still finding him. Josh Allen is second on his legs as much as his arm: 560 projected rush yards and 8.8 rushing touchdowns. That floor is still the one most quarterbacks cannot touch. The two sit on different slates — Stafford 15.4 games, Allen 15.9 — and the season totals are a coin flip.

The next tier is younger. Caleb Williams, Bo Nix, and Drake Maye occupy 3–5. Each brings real rushing production. Jayden Daniels is eighth, not fourth, because the line is a 14.7-game slate after last year's injury. Tyler Shough is the new name at ninth — a full 16.5-game Saints line, not a late-round flier.

Top 10 RB

Christian McCaffrey leads with the trait that has always set him apart: 102 projected catches on top of a workload that makes him the clear No. 1 back in San Francisco. That receiving floor keeps him ahead of Bijan Robinson, who gets more carries but fewer targets. McCaffrey's line is a 14.4-game slate — the per-game number is even further ahead of the field than the season total.

Ashton Jeanty at sixth is still the headline for dynasty players. He struggled behind a poor offensive line as a rookie. A workload this heavy — 331 projected carries — under a new coordinator in year two can still turn into a long-term asset. Jeremiyah Love is eighth as a true rookie already listed RB1. Omarion Hampton closes the ten on a 15.4-game slate. A fractured ankle cost him nine games last year; this line is the healthier, full-role version, not last year's stub.

Top 10 WR

CeeDee Lamb and Ja'Marr Chase sit at the top on volume. Both project for more than 150 targets, and target share is still the best predictor at this position. Rashee Rice is ninth on a 14.9-game slate — the points board is buying the role, not the legal or health file. That is why he ranks much lower on the trade-value companion. A.J. Brown closes the ten in New England. He takes over a wide-open WR1 role after the June trade that sent two future picks to Philadelphia. The 237.6-point line is a receiver still learning a new offense. If the connection with Drake Maye clicks, that number has room to climb.

Top 10 TE

Trey McBride leads a position that has changed fast. Three of the top seven — Tyler Warren, Harold Fannin Jr., and Colston Loveland — are still on rookie contracts, and all three already project inside the top 10. Offenses throw to young tight ends right away now instead of easing them in. George Kittle is third, not a veteran fading out of the ten, on a 14.7-game slate. Travis Kelce is still eighth. The position no longer measures itself against him.
