Football's back. The Seattle Seahawks host the New England Patriots tonight at 8:20 p.m. ET, a rematch of last February's Super Bowl. It's the first time since 2012 the NFL has opened its season on a Wednesday, and it's the defending champs' first game since hoisting the trophy. That's a fitting way to start a season fantasy managers have been waiting on since April.

Whether you're running a dynasty roster, a keeper league, or a plain old redraft, tonight kicks off 18 weeks of decisions. Here's what actually matters for Week 1 lineups, starting with the opener itself.

Tonight's Game Already Has a Fantasy Wrinkle

Both starting running backs for tonight's game are out. TreVeyon Hendersonwon't play for New England, and Zach Charbonnet is out for Seattle. That hands early-season touches to Rhamondre Stevensonin New England's backfield — our Week 1 board has him projected for 9.3 half-PPR points, a real floor play if you're desperate at the position.

Josh Jacobs(GB) — Jacobs opens the season on the commissioner's exempt list while misdemeanor charges from a May arrest are pending. He can't practice or play until the league resolves the matter. Green Bay traded for Kaleb Johnson before camp broke, and MarShawn Lloydnow leads the Packers' early-season touches.

Questionable, but still ranked to start: Christian McCaffrey, Patrick Mahomes, Puka Nacua, Ja'Marr Chase, Jeremiyah Love, Malik Nabers, Ashton Jeanty, George Kittle, and Breece Hallall carry the tag but still rank inside our top 30 at their position.
