Philadelphia led 20–10 with 7:27 left, went for it on fourth down at the Rams' 2-yard line instead of kicking a field goal, and watched Kyren Williams score twice in the final four minutes. Los Angeles won 24–20. It was Philadelphia's second straight loss, and Saquon Barkley did not finish the game.
The fourth-down call and the comeback
A chip-shot field goal would have made it 23–10. Coach Nick Sirianni called a pass for Darius Cooper instead, and Jalen Hurts's throw fell incomplete at the goal line. Williams cut the lead to 20–17 with a short touchdown run with 3:59 left, then scored from 7 yards with 1:17 remaining after Matthew Stafford moved the Rams into the red zone. Hurts was sacked twice on the final possession.
Stafford finished 32 of 51 for 317 yards with two interceptions and no passing touchdowns. Puka Nacua caught 9 of 12 targets for 125 yards and scored on a 2-yard run, the Rams' only first-half touchdown. Williams added 10 catches on 13 targets for 67 yards to go with his two rushing scores, about 31.7 half-PPR points.
Philadelphia’s short-handed offense
Hurts went 12 of 27 for 93 yards and two touchdowns, all to Cooper on 3 catches for 33 yards. DeVonta Smith and Dallas Goedert did not play. Smith and Goedert were Questionable on the report with hamstring and knee injuries. Barkley left after two carries for 8 yards and one catch for 2. Tank Bigsby ran 14 times for 55 yards and Will Shipley added 6 carries for 23. Makai Lemon caught 3 of 6 for 27, Dontayvion Wicks 3 of 5 for 18, and Zach Ertz 2 of 4 for 13. Jake Elliott made both field goals and both extra points.
Rams receivers behind Williams
Tyler Higbee caught 5 of 6 for 67. Davante Adams saw 9 targets and caught 4 for 32. Blake Corum had 5 carries for 14 yards. Kicker Harrison Mevis was 1 for 2 on field goals in the box.
Lineup calls for Week 5
Williams and Nacua are easy starts while Los Angeles keeps feeding them 13 targets and a full rushing role. Adams' nine targets for 32 yards reflect Stafford's day more than a role change. In Philadelphia, check the Friday injury report on Barkley and Smith before you lock running backs or Cooper, who had two touchdowns on three catches with Smith out.
