Dynasty Waiver Wire Targets: After Week 4
Carolina and Kansas City are on bye, Washington's quarterback job is open again, and both Cincinnati stars are banged up. Five names for this week's claims.

Carolina and Kansas City are off in Week 5, which takes Tetairoa McMillan, Chuba Hubbard, Kenneth Walker III and Patrick Mahomes out of your lineup. Claims process tonight, and these five either fill a bye hole or cover an injury.
Athan Kaliakmanis, QB, Washington
Superflex and two-quarterback leagues only. Kaliakmanis is listed third on Washington's depth chart, but Marcus Mariota is Doubtful with a knee injury and Jayden Daniels is out again, and the Engine projects Kaliakmanis to inherit the starter's workload at 17.7 against the Giants. He went 15 of 33 for 186 yards with a touchdown and an interception on Sunday. Sunday's Injury Wire said to leave him alone, and the new injury tags are the reason that changed.
Dohnte Meyers, WR, Cincinnati
Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins are both Questionable for Miami. Meyers drew nine targets Sunday and caught seven for 82 yards, so he's next up in an offense where Joe Burrow threw 54 times. If both stars play he's a bench stash, and if either sits he's a start.
Brenton Strange, TE, Jacksonville
Brenton Strange caught seven of eight targets for 95 yards, 13.0 points, and led Jacksonville in targets on a day when Parker Washington had three and Brian Thomas Jr. had two. Tight end is thin everywhere, and he makes a fair streaming option against Philadelphia.
Dontayvion Wicks, WR, Philadelphia
DeVonta Smith (hamstring) and tight end Dallas Goedert (knee) are both out again, and the Engine projects Dontayvion Wicks at 11.7 as the receiver who inherits their work. The caution is the offense around him. Jalen Hurts went 12 of 27 for 93 yards Sunday and Wicks caught three passes for 18 yards, so this is a claim for the target share, not the passing game.
Braelon Allen, RB, New York Jets
Breece Hall is out again with his quad injury, and the Engine projects Braelon Allen at 10.7 against Cleveland. Allen had all 14 of the Jets' carries Sunday for 59 yards and caught two passes. The offense scored 12 points in Chicago, but while Hall is out the work is his.

FAQ
- What should I do about a bye-week hole on waivers?
- Claim for need first. A bye is a one-week problem, so fill the hole with the best available starter and keep your speculative claims for after.
- Is a third-string quarterback worth a claim?
- In Superflex, yes, when the two ahead of him are hurt. In a one-quarterback league he's a wasted roster spot, even at 17.7.
- How much should I spend on a stash like Meyers?
- Little. His value depends on a teammate's injury, so a small bid keeps the downside cheap if both Cincinnati stars play.
