Every injury that mattered on Sunday, newest games first. Each entry covers what happened, who steps in, and our read on the fantasy impact.

Sunday night: Lions at Panthers

Jalen Coker (CAR WR) was ruled out for the game. Tetairoa McMillan soaked up the vacancy with 16 of Bryce Young's 41 targets and turned them into 14 catches, 192 yards and two touchdowns. John Metchie III saw five targets and Brycen Tremayne three. McMillan is a start whenever Coker sits, but don't plan on 16 targets once Coker is back.

Late games

Ladd McConkey (LAC WR) left Seattle early, reportedly with a foot injury, and finished with no catches on two targets. Tre Harris picked up five targets and tight end Oronde Gadsden II eight. Wait for Wednesday's practice report before trusting McConkey in a lineup.

Tyquan Thornton (KC WR) was carted off with an ankle injury late in the fourth quarter, after five catches for 111 yards and two touchdowns. Xavier Worthy is next up in Kansas City's passing game. There's no timeline yet, and one big game doesn't make Thornton a lineup fixture while his ankle is unexplained.

Jalen Nailor (LV WR) did not return after a concussion. Tre Tucker had eight targets in his place. The bigger Las Vegas news is that Brock Bowers came back with 11 targets and Michael Mayer still got 10, so the two tight ends are sharing the offense.

Pat Bryant (DEN WR)was carted off with a leg injury late in the third quarter of Denver's 24-14 loss at San Francisco. The Broncos haven't given a timeline, so check the Wednesday report.

Saquon Barkley (PHI RB) left early in the first quarter with a hamstring injury after two carries. Tank Bigsby took 14 carries for 55 yards, and Will Shipley added six. Barkley was seen walking normally after the game, and the Eagles gave no update. Bigsby is the pickup until Barkley practices before Philadelphia's Week 5 trip to London. Philadelphia also played without DeVonta Smith (hamstring) and tight end Dallas Goedert (knee, MCL).

Lamar Jackson (BAL QB)left at halftime with an ankle injury after going 15 of 20 for 222 yards and two touchdowns. Tyler Huntley finished 8 of 9 as Baltimore won 24-18. He left the stadium in a walking boot, but coach Jesse Minter said Jackson avoided a major injury, and NFL Network reported he's believed to be day-to-day.

Early games

Ja'Marr Chase (CIN WR) left in the second quarter with a concussion after three catches for 27 yards, and Tee Higgins left in the fourth with an adductor injury after 11 catches and 157 yards. Higgins came back for one play on the final drive and couldn't continue. Chase Brown and receiver Dohnte Meyers took the overflow from Joe Burrow's 54 throws. If both receivers miss time, Meyers is the add. Chase's head hit the turf early in the second quarter, and the concussion protocol matters more than any timeline guess.

Rhamondre Stevenson (NE RB) hurt his right knee with a minute left and walked off on his own. TreVeyon Henderson shares the backfield, and his workload jumps if Stevenson misses time.

Kyle Monangai (CHI RB)hurt his thumb late after 30 carries, 146 yards and two touchdowns. There's no timeline yet. D'Andre Swift had 15 carries and becomes startable again if Monangai sits.

Marcus Mariota (WAS QB)left early in London with a knee injury after throwing four passes. ESPN lists him Doubtful with an MCL problem. Athan Kaliakmanis took over and went 15 of 33 with an interception in Washington's 30-13 loss. Leave him on the wire.

Donovan Jackson (MIN G) was downgraded to out with a knee injury in a 15-10 Minnesota win.

Before kickoff

Justin Jefferson, Breece Hall and Jayden Daniels were all out as expected. Minnesota still beat Miami 15-10 without Jefferson, and Braelon Allen ran 14 times for 59 yards for the Jets.

The Sunday-morning questions resolved quickly. Terry McLaurin was inactive for Washington with his hamstring, and Puka Nacua played through his hip and caught nine passes for 125 yards.

Caleb Williams missed his first game of a three-to-four-week hamstring injury, and Tyson Bagent started for Chicago, going 25 of 34 for 268 yards with an interception.

FAQ

When should I pick up a backup after a Sunday injury?
When the backup already took a starter's workload, as Tank Bigsby did with 14 carries, and you have roster space. Wait on handcuffs who only played because the game was already decided.
Does a walking boot mean a quarterback is out multiple weeks?
Not always. Teams use boots as precautions. Baltimore called Lamar Jackson day-to-day despite the boot — Wednesday's practice report matters more than Sunday's scene.
How do I track concussion protocol updates?
There is no public day count. Players must clear each protocol step. Plan as if concussed receivers are out until the team returns them to practice in full.
