Week 4 Dynasty Winners & Losers

Injuries rewrote at least four depth charts this week. Ollie Gordon, Emanuel Wilson and Romeo Doubs inherited jobs, and seven players sat out and lost 300 to 500 points.

Injuries rewrote at least four depth charts this week, and the board moved quickly to follow them. Some of those moves are earned. Others hand a backup the starter's range before he has done much with it, so the box score matters as much as the number. Last week: Jacksonville's WR1 flip and Bowers's return.

Gordon, Wilson and Doubs inherit jobs

Ollie Gordon II went from 194 to 9,174, the biggest jump on the board. Miami lists him first after De'Von Achane's season-ending ACL injury, and he ran nine times for 100 yards and a touchdown, 9 of the 16 non-quarterback carries. Jaylen Wright still had five and is still listed second. Treat the 9,174 with caution. It moved Gordon to the top of Achane's range because the depth chart says so, in a game Miami lost 15-10 with 18 total carries.

Emanuel Wilson moved from 20 to 4,340 and has earned more of it. Jadarian Price is on injured reserve and Zach Charbonnet is out with an ACL injury, so Seattle lists Wilson first, and he took 21 of the 30 non-quarterback carries. He ran for 81 yards and a touchdown and caught three passes for 39 yards and another score.

Romeo Doubs climbed from 3,268 to 4,978 as New England's listed WR1 with A.J. Brown on injured reserve. He caught six of nine targets for 58 yards and two touchdowns, 24% of the Patriots' throws.

Kamara moves before he plays

Alvin Kamara gained 1,502 to reach 4,270 as New Orleans' listed lead back after Travis Etienne's injury. The move came from the depth chart and his share in Weeks 2 and 3, before he played. Update: Monday night he scored 20.3 on two rushing touchdowns and five catches in Atlanta's 45-24 win over his Saints, a touchdown-driven day on seven carries for 23 yards.

Golden and Allen walked up their ranges

Matthew Golden rose from 90 to 4,762 on a growing share of Green Bay's targets, with Jayden Reed on injured reserve. Sunday was three catches on seven targets for 21 yards and a touchdown, and Christian Watson is still listed first after catching all three of his targets.

Braelon Allen went from 397 to 4,842 with Breece Hall out. He had all 14 of the Jets' carries, which reflects a tiny pie more than a big role. New York ran 14 times all game, and Hall is still listed first.

Sitting out costs 300 to 500 points

The board cuts a score for any player ruled Out. Justin Jefferson lost 509 to land at 5,988, DeVonta Smith lost 466, Breece Hall 429, Caleb Williams 352, Dallas Goedert 351, Baker Mayfield 341 and Jayden Daniels 303. Every one of them is still listed first at his position, so these are one-week cuts, not role changes.

The cut skips players tagged Questionable. Nico Collins played through his hamstring and scored 27.3 on seven catches, and Puka Nacua played through his hip with nine catches for 125 yards and a rushing touchdown.

Skip these four numbers

Xavier Hutchinson shows +4,342, but Collins played and Hutchinson caught three passes for 46 yards. Michael Mayer shows +4,302 because his share still includes the weeks Brock Bowers was out, and Bowers caught six of 11 targets for 86 yards and a score while Mayer caught eight of 10 for 82. Jaxson Dart dropped 1,044 because his Week 1 game rolled out of the three-game window. His season is over. Carnell Tate shows a dip too, which is the board settling him, not a bad Sunday, after nine catches for 145 yards.

Three roles still unresolved

TreVeyon Henderson ran 14 times for 42 yards and Rhamondre Stevenson ran 13 for 47 and a touchdown. That makes the split 16-6, then 8-7, then 14-13 across three games, and New England's depth chart hasn't moved off Stevenson.

Kyle Monangai took 30 of Chicago's 50 non-quarterback carries to 15 for D'Andre Swift. His score jumped from 689 to 3,300, and the chart still lists him second.

Tetairoa McMillan took 16 of Carolina's 41 throws and scored 38.2 with Jalen Coker out. His score was already 8,024, so the box score did the work this time, not the board.

Parker Washington and Michael Wilson held their jobs from last week with changes of 40 and 18 points. Washington caught one pass on three targets.

FAQ

What does it mean when the board says a player gained a job?
The depth chart now lists him first and he's carrying a larger share of touches. The board moves his score toward the starter's range, which is why a backup can jump thousands of points in a week.
Why didn't Collins and Nacua lose points after being tagged Questionable?
The cut applies only to players ruled Out. Both were tagged Questionable and played, so their scores held.
Is Braelon Allen's 100% carry share meaningful?
Not much. The Jets ran 14 times all game, so a full share is a small number of touches.
