Cole Kmet is out for the year, Puka Nacua is questionable, and Lamar Jackson is still being evaluated. Our injury report has the call on each.

Roster news

  • Cole Kmet is done for the year. Ben Johnson said Friday that Chicago is putting him on injured reserve with a knee injury. That opens tight end targets, so check Colston Loveland on waivers.
  • Puka Nacua has a calf injury, will not practice Friday, and is questionable. Have a backup ready for the late games.
  • Lamar Jackson is questionable with an ankle injury. He practiced Wednesday and Thursday, and Jesse Minter said Friday that his status is still being evaluated.
  • Baker Mayfield practiced fully Friday and is listed questionable against Carolina after three games out with his thumb. Emeka Egbuka is out with a concussion and a foot injury.
  • Tyler Warren is out with a groin injury. Cornerback Sauce Gardner is doubtful with a calf strain.
  • Jeremiyah Love is out again with an ankle injury. Tyler Allgeier and Bam Knight should split Arizona's carries.
  • Chiefs: Rashee Rice is out against Seattle. Brashard Smith is questionable, and Travis Kelce is questionable after a limited practice with an ankle injury.
  • Jets: Adonai Mitchell will play, and Breece Hall is questionable with a quad injury.
  • Seahawks: Zach Charbonnet is off the physically-unable-to-perform list and is questionable for Sunday.
  • Falcons: Brian Robinson Jr. is out with a hamstring injury.
  • Eagles, Monday night: Saquon Barkley practiced Friday and is questionable. DeVonta Smith and Dallas Goedert were not seen during the open portion of practice and are questionable.

Thursday night recap

Chicago beat New England 30-24. Caleb Williams threw for 308 yards and two touchdowns. A.J. Brown caught three passes for 48 yards. That is nine catches for 101 yards in three games as a Patriot, which puts him in sell-low or bench territory.

For dynasty

Trade talk is picking up around Jonathan Taylor after Indianapolis fired general manager Chris Ballard. The Seahawks, Packers, Bengals, Giants and Vikings have been named. Nothing is agreed, and the deadline is Nov. 10. Our trade-deadline watch has the full picture.

Love's injury could make this a good time to buy him low. Owners tired of waiting may sell cheap.
