New York beat Tennessee 12–7 in the rain with no offensive touchdowns from the Giants — four field goals, a goal-line pick, and a heavy run day for Cam Skattebo.

The Giants played their first game since Jaxson Dart season-ending knee injury, in a nor'easter, and won it on defense. Jevon Holland intercepted Cam Ward in the end zone with 17 seconds left to seal a 12–7 win over Tennessee. New York never scored a touchdown — every Giants point came on a field goal — in a game that turned on stops, not explosives.

Winston and Zvada in the rain

Jameis Winston completed 14 of 22 passes for 118 yards, and every Giants point came from Dominic Zvada, who made all four of his field goals in the wind and rain. New York leaned on the run instead, 33 carries to 22 passes, and Cam Skattebo carried 20 times for 60 yards and caught three passes for 40 more. Najee Harris added 52 yards on nine carries in his biggest workload with the team so far. Devin Singletary was inactive for the first time all season, which tells you how the touches will likely split going forward.

Tennessee stalled until the final drive

Tennessee defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons made seven tackles in the first half alone, a number no other defensive tackle has matched in a half all season, but his offense couldn't finish drives. Tony Pollard ran for 74 yards on 17 carries and added four catches, and Wan'Dale Robinson caught the Titans' only touchdown. Tennessee reached the Giants' 7-yard line in the final two minutes with a chance to win it, and Holland's interception ended the threat.

Skattebo's workload without Singletary active is the clearest signal here — he's New York's back now. Winston's numbers won't excite anyone, but the Giants ran 33 times in a rainstorm, which says more about game plan than about who's throwing the ball.
