Dynasty news for Oct. 27: Tyrone Tracy Jr. goes to IR, Jonah Coleman leads waivers, Lamar Jackson aims for Sunday, and trade rumors build.
By Tyler Brandt · October 27, 2026
Giants running back Tyrone Tracy Jr. is out at least four games, and Lamar Jackson is trying to play Sunday. Here is the rest of Tuesday's dynasty news.
Roster news
Giants. Tyrone Tracy Jr. is going on injured reserve with a hamstring injury and will miss at least four games, per Mike Garafolo and Adam Schefter. General manager Joe Schoen says it isn't long-term. Cam Skattebo and Devin Singletary pick up the work. New York is on bye this week, so neither plays until Week 9.
Bengals. Tight end Erick All Jr. is on injured reserve with what is believed to be a torn ACL, his third, per Ian Rapoport. Cincinnati signed Cam Grandy. Mike Gesicki is the tight end to roster.
Colts and Seahawks. Indianapolis traded guard Quenton Nelson to Seattle for a 2027 third-round pick and a 2028 fifth, per Schefter. It helps the Seahawks' run game. Rapoport says the Colts are "likely not done" selling.
49ers. Kyle Shanahan said Monday evening that Christian McCaffrey's hamstring strain is mild, and he's optimistic McCaffrey plays against the Raiders after the bye. Mike Evans, Deebo Samuel and Nick Bosa are also expected back. That isn't guaranteed.
Ravens. Lamar Jackson is working to play Sunday at Buffalo with a high ankle sprain, and more clarity should come Wednesday. Rookie guard Vega Ioane has a short-term MCL sprain, which weakens the line further. Our Week 8 rankings still list Jackson as out and Tyler Huntley as the starter. We'll update them if that changes.
Usage trends to act on
Jonah Coleman is the top waiver add in most leagues. In his first game back from injured reserve he played 30 snaps, more than RJ Harvey and J.K. Dobbins combined.
Jets rookie Omar Cooper Jr. has back-to-back 100-yard games, with a touchdown in each. Our Week 8 projection has him at 10.9.
Mark Andrews has five catches over his last five games. Drop him in shallow leagues.
Dynasty angles
Jonathan Taylor. Schefter reports that Colts ownership has no plans to move him. His wife said on TikTok that they "might get traded," per Dov Kleiman. With Indianapolis selling, expect this one to stay in the news. Jonathan Taylor owners are choosing between holding and selling.
Receiver trade rumors. Garrett Wilson has been linked to Kansas City and San Francisco. Kansas City has also called about George Pickens ahead of the Nov. 10 deadline. Nothing is confirmed on either.
Devy and the 2028 draft. Mississippi State quarterback Kamario Taylor is out for the season after toe surgery, and Schefter calls him a potential top 2028 quarterback. Oregon's Dante Moore is also done for the year.
