Andre Szmyt made both of his field goals, and the long one was 56 yards. Cleveland beat Pittsburgh 27–24. That 56-yarder is the longest kick in his NFL file. The previous long was 55, in 2025. He has now made 22 in a row since a miss in Week 8 of 2025: 14 the rest of that season and 8 this year, and none of those weeks included a miss.
Judkins did the work. McLaughlin scored on his only carry.
Jaleel McLaughlin had one carry. It went 28 yards and it was a touchdown. He is listed RB3, behind Quinshon Judkins and Raheim Sanders, so that snap is a spike, not a new job. Judkins carried 17 times for 53 yards and a score and caught 6 of 7 targets for 43 yards. Harold Fannin Jr. caught 3 of 5 targets for 27 yards and a touchdown. Chris Boswell made a 31-yard field goal and missed another.
Isaiah McGuire and Maliek Collins each recorded a sack. Collins’s was his first of 2026. Pittsburgh was sacked five times in all.
Rodgers threw three scores. Metcalf still led the receivers.
Aaron Rodgers finished 22 of 40 for 299 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions, and he ran in a two-point conversion. Roman Wilson caught 3 of 6 targets for 74 yards and a score. DK Metcalf caught 5 of 9 for 115 yards and did not score. Darnell Washington and Pat Freiermuth both found the end zone, Washington on 3 catches for 27 yards and Freiermuth on 3 for 17. Jaylen Warren ran 17 times for 93 yards and added 3 catches for 33.
Wilson was the second Steelers receiver in the box. He is still WR3 on the chart. Michael Pittman Jr. is listed at WR2 and has no 2026 stat row, so the targets in this game went to Metcalf and Wilson. Washington is the listed TE1 and Freiermuth is TE2. Both scored.
Watson’s line, and the short-week record we can actually check
Deshaun Watson was 24 of 33 for 268 yards, one touchdown and one interception. He added 22 yards on 7 carries, was sacked twice, and lost a fumble. Denzel Boston led the Browns with 4 catches for 89 yards. KC Concepcion caught 5 of 8 targets for 64, and Jerry Jeudy caught all 3 of his targets for 36.
Thursday night home games against Pittsburgh in the schedule file are this one and 2024 Week 12, a 24–19 Cleveland win. That is two home wins, not a decades-long streak. On the other side, Pittsburgh is 0–3 in AFC North road games with four days of rest since 2024: at Cleveland that November, at Cincinnati in 2025, and this game. A six-day rest trip to Baltimore in 2023 was a win, so the clean split is the four-day trips.
Lineup calls for Week 5
Judkins is the back to roster. Seventeen carries and seven targets in the same game is a weekly role, and McLaughlin’s touchdown does not change the chart. Rodgers’s three scores came with two interceptions. Treat the ceiling as real and the floor as messy. Wilson is a usable Pittsburgh receiver while Pittman is absent from the box, and the tight-end scores were split.
Full half-PPR lines are on the PIT at CLE box score, and the start/sit board has the Week 5 projections.
