Dynasty waiver wire targets for Week 7: Braelon Allen, Ollie Gordon II, Tyler Allgeier and other injury fill-ins with a path to a real role. Casey Whitfield.

By Casey Whitfield · October 20, 2026

Twenty-six skill players are listed Out this week, and the backups behind them are the best adds on the board. Check your league's pool for each name below. Points are half-PPR. Every fill-in has one limit: his role ends when the starter returns.

Buffalo, Jacksonville, the Chargers and Washington are on bye.

Running backs

Braelon Allen leads the list. Breece Hall is out with a quad against Miami, and the report does not give a return week. The model projects Allen for about 18 carries and 13.9 points.

Ollie Gordon II takes the Miami carries because De'Von Achane is on IR with a torn ACL. Gordon is projected for about 11 carries and 11.2 points against the Jets. He has faced eight or more defenders on 7 percent of his carries, so he has had room to run. The line is still a backup's line, and the absence is not a one-week injury.

Tyler Allgeier leads Arizona while Jeremiyah Love is out with an ankle. Allgeier is projected for 21 carries and 14.7 points against Denver. He ran 18 times for 38 yards last week, and defenses stacked the box against him on 38 percent of his carries this season. The volume is the reason to add him, and the efficiency is the reason to expect modest results.

Jaleel McLaughlin has Cleveland's backfield while Quinshon Judkins is out with an ankle and Dylan Sampson is on IR with a knee injury. McLaughlin is projected for about 15 carries and 12.2 points against Tennessee.

Dameon Pierce is projected for 15 carries and 12.9 points in Philadelphia with Saquon Barkley out with a hamstring. Woody Marks is in the same spot in Houston with David Montgomery out with a groin injury, and Marks is projected for 16 carries and 12.2 points against the Giants.

Receivers and tight ends

San Francisco is without Deebo Samuel, who is out with a hamstring, and Mike Evans is doubtful with an Achilles injury. Brandin Cooks moves up, but our projection is only 7.8 points. He is a deep-league add.

Mo Alie-Cox is Indianapolis's tight end while Tyler Warren is out with a groin injury, and Alie-Cox is projected for 7.4 points. Treat him as a one-week streamer.

Quarterback

Tyler Huntley starts again for Baltimore while Lamar Jackson is out with an ankle injury. The model projects 20.4 points against Cincinnati, including about 22 rushing yards. He is the eighth quarterback on the board. That is enough to start him in two-quarterback leagues.

How to use this list

Add the backs first. Allen and McLaughlin have the clearest openings for this week. Gordon stays on the list because Achane's ACL is not a short absence, but 11.2 points is not a price you pay a pick for. Pick Pierce or Marks if your league's pool does not have the others. Do not give up a pick for any of them.

FAQ

Which running back should I add first on the Week 7 waiver wire?
Braelon Allen, if he is available. Breece Hall is out with a quad and the report does not list a return week. Allen is projected for about 18 carries and 13.9 half-PPR points against Miami.
Is it worth adding a backup if the starter will return?
Yes, if you have an open roster spot. A fill-in’s value ends when the starter returns, so do not trade a pick for one. Ollie Gordon is the exception on the length of the absence: De’Von Achane is on IR with a torn ACL.
Can Tyler Huntley start in a one-quarterback league?
Only if you are short at the position. He is the eighth quarterback on our Week 7 board at 20.4 half-PPR points against Cincinnati, and the role ends when Lamar Jackson returns.
